Internet Pedophiles
A recent study found that one in five children online is approached by a sexual predator, a predator who may try to set up a face-to-face meeting. -Katie Couric host of "Today"
I am disturbed by something I saw on television last night. I watched NBC Dateline's segment on Internet Predators. Internet Predators are grown men (or women) that target children (17 & under) online. I was thoroughly sickened by what I saw.
Dateline NBC set up a hidden camera in a house to catch grown men attempting to meet & have sex with whom they thought was a 14 year old girl that they have met online.
To follow the trail of an Internet predator prowling for children, from seduction in a chat room to a face-to-face meeting, Dateline rented a house, wired it with hidden cameras, and enlisted the help of an online vigilante group called "Perverted Justice." Volunteers from the group posed as teens in chat rooms, saying they were home alone and interested in sex. Within hours there were men literally lining up at our door.
I was thoroughly disgusted by what I saw from these men. Some of these men were married. The decoy that NBC used was a grown woman pretending to be the 14 year old. In each instant messaging conversation that she had with these men, she made it very clear that she was 14 years old. These bastards still pursued. That is outrageous. How desperate can you be to seek sexual gratification from a child?
Dateline was bold with this investigation as well. They showed the online names of all of the men guilty of showing up to the empty house to commit statutory rape. These are men who chat on yahoo & AOL. The two names that I remember were thirty4goingon17 & sk80py.
Dateline enlisted the help of an online watch group called Perverted Justice. This site is very bold as well. They constantly set up decoys to trap online predators. They also paste the personal information of all of the men who've been trapped in these "stings". I visited the site last night. Once again, I was very disturbed by some of the profiles that I found. Two profiles stuck out in particular to me. One was of a man who called himself fleet_captain_jaime_wolfe. This man's real name is Paul Short. Paul is listed on the site as being the #1 "Most Slimy" predator. Perverted Justice has a log of the conversations that this man had with a decoy that he percieved to be a 13 year old girl.
For a few days this man pushed himself onto "this child" and forced her to set up a meeting with him. He wanted to make her, a friggin 13 year old child, his submissive. A submissive is someone who is willing to be taken advantage of by a dominant sexual partner. This man wanted to have anal sex with this "child", he wanted to tie her up & put dice in her vagina and he wanted to "gag her with his cock". The "child" constantly reminded him that she was only 13 and this man knew it

There is no question of whether or not this man knew this child's age. On a number of occassions, he wanted assurance from the child that it was okay for him to dominate her. He knew this isht was illegal.

I will not post anymore of this conversation because it really does get worse as the conversation progresses. This was a 34 year old man soliciting a child for sex. I cried the conversation beyond the point above. I can't believe that people can be so evil and inhumane.
NOTE TO MY BLACK READERS...please don't make the mistake that I did in believing that only white men do this kind of sick stuff. I found a couple of brothas on this site who were guilty of the same coniving bull! One guy in particular pissed me off to the point where I added him to my yahoo buddy list and I was going to curse his black behind out when I saw him online. I later removed him after I regained my common sense.
His name is Jamaal. His chat name is Blkmaal. Jamaal is supposedly working on a second degree in Broadcasting & Communication. Jamaal tried to soliticit a "14 year old". I use quotes because once again this 14 year old was an adult decoy. During the beginnings of this conversation, Jamaal had all the opportunities in the world to dismiss this child and find someone his own damn age. Jamaal was dumb as hell. Not only did he ignore the signs to step off, but this dumb nigga bit the bait and got hooked. *SIDE NOTE* Jamaal will be referred to as THIS NIGGA in portions of this post because that's how I percieve him AND he did some ignorant crap...so if that offends you, please stop reading at this moment.
Once again, "the child" made it VERY clear that she was a minor. She told Jamaal that she was only 14 years old.

He's working on a second degree (which I assumed to be a Master's) and one would think that a man his age (23 or 25) would be smart enough to stay away from situations like this. I will not post anymore of this converstion because at this point, I'm sure you can imagine the type of crap this grown man asked this "child". You can read the full transcript over in the Perverted Justice archives. Just know that Jamaal continues to pursue the conversation inquiring about breast size, parental guidance & orgasms. He also sets up a meeting with child, and HE ACTUALLY SHOWS UP!
As I've learned, these kind of men are not limited to one race. They come in all colors, shapes & sizes. They are all sick. It is beyond me that an adult, despite knowing a childs full age, would continually pursue sexual relations with the minor. Words can't even describe how evil this is. Are these men so screwed up in the head, that they would choose to ruin the innocent life of a child?
Granted, these weren't real children, but one can't neglect the facts. One in five children online is approached by a sexual predator. This is serious. Had these decoys been real children, God only knows what kind of things could've happened. Had "Kristen" been a real 13 year old, Paul Short would've kidnapped her & raped her repeatedly as sexual punishment. If you read the entired dialogue between Paul & "Kristen", then you know that Paul was intending to inflict serious harm on this child. There was nothing good about this situation.
Had "Julie" been real, Jamaal would've given her alcohol and quite possibly taken advantage of her. This makes me want to cry. These men know what they are doing. I wish there were more vigilante groups exposing these cowards. I tip my hat to the brave folks over at Perverted Justice.

This is a really great post Timi. I only saw the latter parts of the segment on NBC. I was upset that I missed it. It stunned me that these children didn't realize how much danger they were in. Did you see the little black girl at the end of the segment? Her mother's complete lack of knowledge of what her child was doing online shocked me as well. There was one thing constant in all of the conversations that I read online. These men were seeking to control these children. In the instance of the 1st conversation you posted that was so obvious. These men really need help.

Yep, it's a very SICK world we're living in. I think a child predator is in every neighborhood. Maybe even on every block.
Grown men have flirted with me since I was TEN. I used to be terrified when I lived in DC and started getting "boobies". I had to cross this busy intersection and men would flirt as I crossed the street. I was TEN. So none of this surprises me.
I hate that I missed that show though.

Hey Timi, I'm sad to hear about Jamaal aka blackmaal. I was most disturbed because his aka is so close to mine. NOw that i've shown the i-net how self involved I am (lol), let me add my 2 cents of advice:
People, please realize that you give out way too much information on the internet. You can't just tell your kids not to give out their name, address and telephone number. That simply is not enough. Why? Because in normal conversation you can inadvertently give away things that will allow a predator to track you down. For instance,
Predator: So what do you like to do?
Innocent: Oh, I love soccer. I play on a league at the park near my house.
Predator: Oh really?
Innocent: Yeah, we won the Westside championship last year. Go Tigers.
Just from this the predator knows that she will likely be at soccer practice from her age group at the park who hosts the Tigers. he can find the park by searching the internet for the tigers and the championship. (I use he and she just cause, it could be mf, fm, etc.).
So you have to teach you children that if they are on the internet, they have to be careful of revealing any information, no matter how innocent, that a person can use to track them down.
My heart stopped for a minute. I thought that you were going to tell me that you were Jamaal aka blkmaal. LOL. Don't scare me like that. I totally agree with you. My aunt is dealing with a situation right now that involves my little cousin. My cousin told a guy (that she thought was a kid) that she played field hockey at her school and the dude showed up to one of her games. So it's been drama.

Although I know Fleet Captain Jaime Wolfe aka Paul Short, I am not here necessarily to defend him. I came to know him through Yahoo's many Star Trek RPG groups and co-founded one with him. My RPG colleagues and I were quite disturbed at the allegations against Mr. Short, needless to say. We've all not had much contact with him for quite some time now as the needs of real life has been more pressing for all of us and has forced us to all but disband our group. I come to you today in this matter to be the voice of reason. I would like to remind the general populace of the very principles our great country was founded on. One of which is "innocent until proven guilty".
Perverted Justice is NOT a reputable site. It is under the gun by fed agencies and has falsified data in more than one instance. As far as Paul Short is concerned, I, nor can any of my colleagues, cannot find ANY corrobative evidence to prove what they claim. Search for yourself. There's no police report attainable. I cannot verify ANY of those supposed court documents. Court documents, by and large, are NOT handwritten like that and do have seals applied. Their copies are suspiciously lacking in that area. Furthermore, police do NOT conduct stings like Perverted Justice claims to have happened - it leads to potentially prosecutable villians getting off on entrapment charges.
There, indeed, ARE those who rightfully have been prosecuted for heinous crimes on the Internet. I do NOT condone that type of behaviour!! I, too, have children and worry how easily they are prey online. In fact, I monitor all of their online access carefully. But, I am simply NOT willing to "buy into" potentially false vigilante justice that Perverted Justice website lives for. I am NOT going to condemn a man when I cannot be reasonably certain he is indeed guilty of said charges. Innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof has NOT been met.

Jess... You clearly have no background in this situation, as EVERY comment you have made in regards to the legality and activities of Perverted-Justice.com can be easily proven false with minimal research. Some are so absurd, one could question if you have an alterior motive...
It's mostly all libel produced by a pro-pedophile organization in an attempt to discredit Perverted-Justice.com
Fact #1 - There isn't a SINGLE standing case against Perverted-Justice.com in any court of law in ANY nation across the ENTIRE world.
Fact #2 - Logs of conversations conducted by Perverted-Justice.com contributers are saved on the individual contributers' computers, on Perverted-Justice.com servers, on an off-site archival service, the servers of whichever chat service was used (Yahoo! or AOL), the bust's computer, and most every server between the contributer and the bust. The legitimacy of these logs can be verified by comparing MD5 checksums of all the logs. Simply put, Perverted-Justice.com does NOT "doctor" any logs, and their findings can be used as evidence in a court of law. As a matter of fact, there have been several CONVICTIONS made based SOLELY on the legitimacy of Perverted-Justice.com logs.
Fact #3 - The ONLY suit ever served to Perverted-Justice.com contributers, served by Julie Cison in the state of Minnesota, was shot down in a matter of hours by Judge Daniel Kammeyer. Judge Kammeyer then intimated that Perverted-Justice.com IN NO WAY are violating any laws.
Fact #4 - Law enforcement agencies around the country regularly conduct stings of this nature. What cave are you living in? There are busts reported in the news every day. Michael Pines (Dallas, TX), Tom Stienau (Hamilton, OH), Lorenzo Rossell Jr. (Columbus, OH), Joseph B. Eisenhauer (Pen Argyl, PA)... I read reports of similarly-conducted stings on a daily basis from many different agencies including local police departments and the United States Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Fact #5 - Obviously the burden of proof WAS met, because Paul Short pled guilty to one of seven felony counts of indecent solicitation, and has been given two years probation, was publically listed as a sex offender in the state police register, and was fined for his conduct.
How can any sane educated person not find any evidence of Paul Short's guilt? HE WAS ARRESTED AT THE TIME AND PLACE HE SPECIFIED IN THE BUST!! He was processed in a court of law, and pled GUILTY!! Paul Short is registered as a sex offender on the Illinois State Police Sex Offender Registry (click to see entry).
How and why would Perverted-Justice.com fake a trial? How could they fake Paul Short's conviction, which was featured on Chicago TV and radio? How could they fake his entry in the ISP's Sex Offender Registry? How about all of the other arrests and convictions that they made have made? Why can I find court documents of many of the cases, find newspaper articles, see TV news segments about the arrests and convictions, all just using Google, and you claim that you can't?
