USS Clueless: Earth to Timi

*mumbles through glass jaw* back then 'ey 'idn't 'ant me/ now 'ey all up on 'e.

don't call my girls chicken-heads! you know they're just trying to get attention (although 'ca-ca-doodle-doo' IS funny and gets 'em attention. i just wouldn't try it to peeps i don't know. or around my white friends.)

tony danza has a talk show. still. well, more or less. tyra ain't gonna last.

...or is she? (look out kelly and regis! her comes the forehead)

i shouldn't joke. tyra's still hot. so is nicole kidman. rental space notwithstanding.

oh, and this story.

a man came to the church a few times late last year looking for some bus fare so he could make it to the burbs the next day and go to the hospital and pick up his disability. could i possibly loan him a few dollars? his wife sent him out, y'know, hoping on the generosity of strangers. oh he thanks me, sends God's blessing on me. what church is this? oh, he's coming to this church on sunday and paying me back twice, no three times what i loaned him. no don't worry about it.

this happens twice. twice, i should say, where i give him money actually. of course, he never pays me back, but i figure it's a loan as unto God, as i do everytime i hear a story of some sort or another and i give out money anyway. he comes by ocassionally, but usually i'm not around or preoccupied.

saturday eve he's coming through. i'm prepared. i have a long distance call on line and watering the grass (or what's left of it) while he's walking through. 'excuse me, i'm looking for jason.'

i kid you not. i was suppressing my laugh. 'i'm sorry, i'm on the phone and working here' he goes on, goes to the back of the church. a couple mins. later he crosses again. he's upset. almost mumbling "you're supposed to be helping people and you're not..."

my pastor, "there was a man coming around looking for you. and then he was trying to hit me up for money. i told him our policy is not to give out money. i suggest you do likewise."

"yes sir. i got you."

but what can i say? i'm a generous and poor sucker.

My thought was similar when I saw the commercial for Tyra's shows. *Shaking my head*

It's a simple rule all sistas should follow, and I quote:

"Your hair color should NOT in ANY way, be LIGHTER or BRIGHTER than Y-O-U."

I mean it's not that hard.

I'm kinda jealous your friend got the nickname C dot B, when that could've easily been MY nickname lol. I have recently dubbed you T-Nice(TM), yes my dear, you're now apart of the trademarked crew :)

And hey, Tyra Banks isn't all evil. She did give us ANTM! (which I'm a disciple of) Can't wait for next season.
