Good Intentions
I really do have good intentions for this site. Finding the time for those intentions is proving to be quite a task. I hope to re-arrange and write more soon. My work load is becoming less heavy, so computer time is again becoming an "option" for me.
In my various hiatus(s), I've been reading, writing, researching, study...I'm getting my professional grown-folk on. I've also listened to alot of music. I've been checking out alot of Christian hip hop artists. I'm loving what I hear. That genre has been one of my favorites for a while.
I like Japhia Life, but I was a bit disappointed with his new album. I love the song "Joanna" & "Sunshine" though.
Tedashii is hot. I'm not a fan of Southern Krunk music, but I can tolerate this CD. The spiritual content is on point & the music is nice.
I just bought R-Swift's "Revolutionary Theme Muzik" off of 3Hmp3 today. The song "Dear Holy Hop" was the selling point for me. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the album.
I need to delve into Tye Tribbett's "Victory Live!" as well. I've had it for a few days and I just can't manage to get past the song "Victory". Mixing gospel & go-go is just off the chain.
I've purchased some albums that normally I wouldn't listen to. I copped the Dixie Chicks...I like it. No I'm not a country music fan, but since country music has dissed the trio, I'll swing them my support. Plus, Natalie Maines is gully. She apologized for comments about the president, then she took the promise back. She was like "Bump that dude! I don't owe him nuffin! N-U-F-F-I-N. AND F Everybody else who don't like what I gotta say!" She's my kind of chick. STICK IT TO EM GIRL!
Anyway...I could go on and on and on...but I have some things to do...you'll hear from me again...before July. Peace
