If Looks Could Kill...
Apparently they can...
Stupidity knows no bounds.
Teen hangs himself after meeting a woman from the internet...
I can't help but to shake my head at this. This kid hanged himself because the woman apparently lied about her looks.
Here's a quote from the article:
After weeks spent chatting with her online, he arranged a date on December 26 in Mudanjiang, 73 miles away from his home town."To his intense disappointment, his dream girl turned out to be a plain lady who was more than 10 years older than him," Xinhua said.
"His parents tried to comfort and console him but, his hopes crushed, he went out to a nearby hill and hanged himself on December 30."
In all likelihood, this kid had suicidal tendencies BEFORE he met with the woman. I can't imagine that her looks were the driving force to push him to hang himself. If he did hang himself because this woman was ugly, then it really says alot about how superficial we as humans have become. I assume that he fell for her based on conversation because they had been talking for a few weeks. The article doesn't suggest that any pictures were exchanged, so going on someone's verbal description of themselves really can't be trusted these days on the 'net.
I understand that meeting her was a big disappointment, but was it really THAT serious? She must've been one ugly heffa. Dang!
She may have been ugly, but ol' boy was high-strung! lol...get it? HIGH STRUNG? Oh nevermind! I crack myself up sometimes
