...and I am an Obamaholic.
The first step in healing is admitting that you have a problem.
I have a John Edwards supporters since forever. At the onset of all this presidential talk, I pegged that John Edwards would be the presumptive nominee. I was wrong. Since Mr. Edwards has abandoned the race, I have been enthralled with Senator Barack Obama. Why? I'll support anyone before I'll ever cast a vote for Hillary Clinton. I'm almost 29 years old and I want change. Hillary Clinton is not change my friends.
Anyway...I first supported Senator Obama as a means of shunning the choice of Senator Clinton. I've begun to believe in this man's message. He gives me....HOPE! I believe that he can be a catalyst for change. I believe that America can do better under his leadership. YES WE CAN!
I went to the Obama rally here in Wilmington last week. I was emotionally moved by the huge crowd in support of him. There were at estimated 20,000 people who showed up downtown to rally. 20,000 people around Rodney Square!!! That's amazing. Do you know how small Wilmington, DE is? I was standing inside of the square just a few rows back from the stage. I had a great view /and I really enjoyed myself.
I lost my Digital Camera on the way to Rodney Square! I think somebody silent jacked me. I don't know what happened to my damn camera, but I am pissed about losing it. I was able to get some pretty decent shots from my cousin's cell phone. I got great audio from my phone as well. I've decided to share....
Here's a clip of the last 1 & a 1/2 of Obama's speech. It's a bit fuzzy because my phone records in qcp and I converted it to Wav. It's still listenable ...for lack of a better word.
